Dr. Paul Wetzel attended University of California, Irvine, for his Bachelor’s degree in Physics with a concentration in BioMedical Physics. He then earned his M.D. degree from University of California, Irvine – College of Medicine. He completed an Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at University of California, San Francisco at Fresno, and then completed his Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City. Dr. Wetzel is currently a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and the American College of Gastroenterology and is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. He is licensed to practice medicine by the State of California.
